Chad Jordan is in his first season as head coach of Lakeland’s eSports program, which kicks off its inaugural season in the fall of 2022.

Lakeland joins more than 125 eSports programs as part of the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports (NJCAAE) league. The NJCAAE was founded in 2019 and is the only national esports association exclusively for two-year colleges.

Jordan has been at Lakeland since 2018, serving as a student success navigator in the college’s learning center. He meets with students in the learning center to develop academic skills and strategies required to be successful during their time at the college.

A 2007 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan, Jordan was a four-year member of the Bobcats track & field team.

Jordan currently resides in Fairport Harbor, Ohio, with his wife Lee and two cats, Potato and Frank.
