Lakers earn much-needed overtime victory at Sinclair, 100-95

DAYTON, Ohio - Lakeland Community College men's basketball went to an overtime period for the second consecutive game and this time it worked out well for the Lakers in a 100-95 victory over Sinclair Community College Saturday afternoon. 

With the win, Lakeland improves to 3-13 overall and 2-5 in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play. 

Three starters for Lakeland scored over 20 points as Trey Granger and Jeramie Burge shared the honor of a game-high 26 points. Ty Howard scored 20 points in the win while Chandler Fointno chipped in 16 points. 

Lakeland will look to ride the momentum with another road trip on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at Lorain County Community College at 7:30 p.m.
