Nick Mracek has made a significant impact in his first year as an assistant coach of the Lakeland men's basketball team.

The Lakers won the 2022-23 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) championship with an impressive 14-2 conference record, marking the seventh OCCAC title in program history.
