Lakers get edged by Columbus State at Quail Hollow

CONCORD, Ohio – Lakeland men's golf didn't have its best round on its first tournament at Quail Hollow Country Club but only lost to Columbus State Community College by four strokes Monday afternoon.

Columbus State shot 332 as a team while Lakeland shot 336 on the Devlin Course at Quail Hollow.

Dylan Boff led the way for the Lakers with a 79, which was good enough for second place overall for both teams.

Bryan Oatridge and Scott Kolodny each shot 85 while Ben Kirsh came in with an 87.

Next up for Lakeland will be the NJCAA Division II Region XII Tournament held at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich. The two-day tournament will begin on Saturday, May 12.
