Dylan Boff comes within one stroke of Nationals for Lakeland at Region XII Tournament

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Lakeland men's golf played well as a team and sophomore Dylan Boff came within one stroke of qualifying for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament during play at the NJCAA Region XII Tournament at Bedford Valley Golf Club.

Boff fired a pair of 1-over 73's in the first 36 holes and added an 82 in the final 18 holes to fall just shy of qualifying for nationals with a combined score of 228.

Ben Kirsh shot a pair of 80's in his first 36 holes and then improved with a 78 in his final 18 holes for a combined 238.

Scott Kolodny fired an 83 in his first 18 holes then a 77 in his second round and then 79 in his final 18 for a combined score of 239.

Bryan Oatridge fired an 80 in his first round, an 82 in the second round and then finished with an 87 for a combined score of 249.

As a team, Lakeland shot a 954 in the 54-hole tournament.
