Lakeland’s Kallista Hribar earns her second OCCAC player of the week honor

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – It was a good week for Lakeland Athletics, taking home three of four OCCAC Athlete of the Week honors for March 26-April 1. While Lakers Luis Padron, Kallista Hribar and Hudson Widrig earned conference recognition, so too did Allison Stack from Cuyahoga C.C. as this week's Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Hribar picks up her second OCCAC weekly honor of the season (also selected on March 5) after racking up nine hits in four games for the Lakers. She batted .643 (9-14) with three doubles and two RBI in a 3-1 week for Lakeland. She was a terror on the base paths, stealing six bases and scoring six runs. Hribar posted multiple hits and scored at least one run in all four games while ripping a double in three contests.

Lakeland will begin conference play this weekend with a doubleheader at Sinclair Community College on Friday, April 6 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
