Lakeland blows out Hocking, 102-32

NELSONVILLE, Ohio – Lakeland women's basketball reached 100 points in a 100-32 beating of Hocking College Saturday afternoon.

The Lakers had six players score in double figures as Destiny Khay led the way with 23 points with the help of six 3-pointers to help Lakeland improve to 14-6 overall and 7-1 in Ohio Community College Athletic Conference play. Hocking fell to 0-9 in OCCAC play.

Delesha Jackson added 19 points and Ziona Williams dropped 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Selah Richardson chipped in 14 points while Julie Hajdu added 12 points and Alicia Sephus added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

Lakeland will get back at it on Sunday, Feb. 3 with a road game at Edison State Community College at 11 a.m. Edison State is 6-2 in OCCAC play.
