Lakers lose to Schoolcraft, 3-0

KIRTLAND, Ohio – Lakeland women's soccer had a hard time getting any offense going and Schoolcraft College took advantage for a 3-0 victory Friday afternoon.

With the loss, Lakeland falls to 3-9-2 overall and its Region XII record stays at 1-5-1.

Schoolcraft scored two goals in the first half and added another in the second half.

Cayleigh Megyesi (Concord) was able to get the lone shot on goal for the Lakers while Schoolcraft fired 27 shots.

Lakeland will look to bounce back with a road game against Lorain County Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m.
