Coach Shear has coached girls soccer at Orange High School and Cornerstone Christian Academy with Coach Mallon. She has served as a goalkeeper trainer for youth soccer players in TSI Premier FC and at The Soccer Institute summer camps.

A graduate of Mentor high school class of 2012. Coach Shear played goalkeeper for the Cardinals and was a member of a District Champion and Region semi-finalist team.  Coach Shear played club soccer at The Soccer Institute, where her TSI Premier U18 team achieved an undefeated Ohio North State Premier League Championship in her last season before college. 

Coach Shear played college soccer at Mercyhurst Northeast  from 2012-2014 as the starting goalkeeper.  She graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Management specializing in Sports. 

Coach Shear has also attended Lakeland Community College and is now a certified Lake County Humane Agent approved by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.
