Lakeland uses complete team effort to sweep Columbus State, 3-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Not a single player stood out for Lakeland Community College volleyball because it took a complete team effort to sweep Columbus State Community College 3-0 by the score of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-22 Saturday afternoon.

"This was a true team effort because everyone played consistent volleyball," said Russ Miozzi, Lakeland head coach. "I was able to play all 10 players and our defense was solid, making it difficult for Columbus to find a kill."
