Lakeland baseball gets 1st win

The Lakeland Lakers played Bergen CC today and came away with a 7-4 victory. For the Lakers, it marked the first win of the season. Andrew Vance pitched 4 solid innings allowing 3 earned runs while striking out 6 in picking up the victory. Bryan Casey finished the game pitching 3 innings allowing 1 earned run while striking out 2 batters to earn the save. Lakeland jumped out early in this contest as they plated 6 runs in the 1st inning. Mike Zeuli's 2-RBI double keyed the inning. Lakeland's final run was scored in the 2nd inning on a Juan Guerrero solo homer. Derik Diaz and Cole Wajda each had a hit and an RBI for the Lakers.

The game against PSU - Mont Alto was cancelled earlier in the day.
