The Lakeland baseball team tried to play host to the Hocking College Hawks today; but the game was called in the bottom of the 1st inning due to falling temperatures. In what would have been the first on campus game for the Lakers this year, mother nature still did not want to cooperate. Lakeland was ahead 7-0 in the bottom of the 1st inning when the game was called. Adam Letson threw a scoreless top half of the inning. 

Next Up: The Lakers will play on Friday (4/29) at a site and date to be determined.  As the OCCAC looks to makeup hgames cancelled due to weather, a schedule is possibly be revamped for all school over thee weekend.  Stay tuned to the Laker website as details are released.
