Game 1: Lakeland 0 – 0 Dallas College
Lakeland played possession during the first half of this semi-finals series while Dallas College played defensive.  Teams played a scoreless first half. The second half was again a defensive matchup as Lakeland had one shot on goal and Dallas College was held to none. Possession was even at 50% as teams played to a 0-0 draw.

Game 2: Lakeland 1 – 4 Dallas College

Dallas College opened the series with scoring a goal through the middle to take an early lead in the second game. Lakeland controlled possession throughout the first half but was unable to get a shot on goal. Dallas College scored their second goal of the match in the 40th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Dallas College opened the second half with a kickoff goal, but Lakeland would respond with a counterattack goal 3-1. The final goal of the match game in extra time corner by Dallas College winning 4-1.

Game 3: Lakeland 3 – 2 Dallas College
Lakeland opened the game with possession, nearly scoring the opening kickoff but hitting the post. Dallas College would score in the 20th on their first shot of the game. That would be the only goal of the half with Dallas College holding on to their 1-0 lead. The momentum of the match changed in the 60th minute when the Lakers drew a penalty, scoring and tying the game 1-1. Dallas College scored to take a 2-1 lead in the 80th minute, but the Lakers would score two miraculous goals in stoppage time to win 3-2.

Game 4: Lakeland 2 – 4 Dallas College
Lakeland  continued their hot steak scoring the first goal of the match on the opening kickoff to take a 1-0 lead. Dallas College even the game at 1-1, scoring a through ball in the 40th minute. The Lakers retook the lead in the 50th minute with Oppermann cutting to the inside and scoring. Dallas College again evened the match scoring a 70th minute goal on a keeper rebound. The momentum shifted as Dallas College would score consecutive goals late in the half to win the game 4-2.

Game 5: Lakeland 2 – 4 Dallas College
In a winner takes all game five, Dallas College opened the scoring on the opening kickoff and followed up with a nutmeg goal taking a 2-0 lead. Dallas College scores again with a cut in pass that leads to an open net, taking a 3-0 lead into the half. Lakeland scored their first goal of the match in the 60th minute on a penalty. The Lakers scored to bring the game within one, but Dallas College would cap the series scoring in the 80th minute winning 4-2.

Dallas College won the series 3-1 to advance to the National Championship.
Lakeland will face Northwest College in the 3rd place match, Monday April 22nd at 7:00pm
