Lakeland Men's Basketball add depth to Elite Eight roster

The Lakeland Men's Basketball team who finished 26-8 and advanced to the National Elite Eight game in the NJCAA tournament has added some significant depth to a team that returns four starters and two key contributors off the bench.

 

Jordan McMillian a 6'2 guard from Columbus, Ohio led Westerville South High School has committed to Lakeland.  Jordan averaged 21ppg and had a career high of 40 points in totaling 462 points in one season.  Jordan's ability to play the point guard positon and move over to the wing position will be dynamic with the return of John Dawson and Tyreke Johnson.

 

Chris Richardson a 6'6 wing from Revere, Ohio has committed to the Lakers.  Chris a standout from Revere High School who shot 54% from the field and averaged 13.7 ppg and 8.7 rebounds.  He was recognized as the District 3 division 2 player of the year and the Suburban league player of the year as well as a 1st team  All-District selection.  Chris ability to rebound, face up, and shoot from the perimeter makes both him and Johnnie Bowers a dynamic dual on the wing and in the post.

 

Julian Jackson 5'9 guard from Canton Ohio led the Massillon Perry High School team to an impressive post season run.  He ended his career with 952 points, 219 assists and 182 rebounds.  He was selected as a two time Federal league all -star and a district 4 all star.  He was also named First Team All- Northeast Inland District and All Ohio Special Mention. 

 

Ke'Saun Key is a 6'3 wing from Euclid, Ohio has committed to Lakeland.  Ke'Seaun  a standout on the Euclid High School team averaged 4ppg 4 rebounds, 4 asst, and 2 steals.  K'Saun was the catalyst for the Euclid Panthers and excelling them in their playoff run by providing sound defensive and exhibiting poise on the offense end of the floor.  Ke'Saun will provide athleticism, and defensive intensity to a already high powered guard rotation.
