Lakers men's basketball falls to Erie CC
The Lakers dropped a 102-65 decision to the Erie CC Kats on Saturday. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 2-4 on the season while the Kats improve to 4-1. Erie controlled the game from start to finish. The Kats started strong and carried a 53-33 lead into the half.  The Lakers struggled with their energy level and just were not able to handle the Kats pressure. Erie shot the ball very well from the arc. At the end of the game, stats were not complete.

Bowe Bytes: "It is very difficult to win when you have 34 turnovers. We also went to the line twice as much as they did and weren't able to convert.  Our energy level wasn't great playing two games in 2 days. We need to come with two strong days of practice as we have two conference games this week."

Next up:  Lakeland will try to get back on track as they travel to Lorain County on Wednesday (11/20) for a 7:30 pm tip. They will then travel to Hocking College on Saturday (11/23) for a 3 pm game before returning home on Tuesday (11/26) to play Mercyhurst NE at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
