The Lakeland men's basketball team (4-0) traveled to St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, MI on Saturday and came away with an impressive 88-44 victory. The Lakers started quick and led 57-18 at the half. From there, they coasted to the victory. Chaze Harris led the way for the Lakers collecting 18 points and 12 rebounds. Keith Germain also had a strong game with 17 points while Marcos Vazquez continued to shine scoring 22 points off the bench. Jaidon Lipscomb chipped in with 11 points on 5-7 shooting. The Lakers EJ Hubbert added 5 points and 6 rebounds in the win.

Hunter's Highlights: "This was a gritty road win by our squad who was once again a little shirt-handed. Fortuntely, we were able to jump on them early and really never looked back. We have another challenge coming Wednesday against a traditionally tough Jamestown CC squad. We'll get back at it and hopefully keep getting some of our players back."

Next Up: Next Wednesday (11/17), Lakeland plays host to Jamestown Community College in a 5:30 (W) and 7:30 (M) matchup. The Lakers are teaming with Phi Theta Kappa during both the women's and men's game and are collecting donations for the Lakeland Cares Cupboard. The Cupboard helps students in need anonymously. It is asked that spectators consider donating canned goods, boxed goods, and/or personal hygiene products. The first 100 people to donate at the games will receive a free Lakers cup.
