After a timeout, Jamestown missed their next shot and then Jaidon Lipscomb buried a 3-pointer to make it 29-22. From there, Lakeland turned up the defense and forced the Jayhawks into several missed shots and turnovers.  In the next seven minute span, the Lakers dominated play and carried a 50-26 lead into the break.

Lakeland started the second half with a suffocating pressure defense and the lead increased to 30 just 2 minutes into the 2nd period. From there, Lakeland cruised to the victory.

Datrey Long also scored 16 (7 for 9 shooting, 3 steals and 5 assists) off the bench while Chaze Harris added 15 points on 6-7 shooting while picking up 5 boards.  Berry, Ansy Oulare, and JR Lumsden each chipped in 8 points apiece. As a team, the Lakers shot just over 64% from the field.

Hunter's Highlights: "It was good to get a couple of players back as it really helped us with our play. Getting Noah Berry back really helped us defensively too. Overall, our team intensity was good. We went 11 deep and they all brought the energy and effort. It was a good balanced team win. We need to start getting ready now for Tuesday. Schoolcraft is a good team and will be a challenge for us."

Next Up:  Please note that Saturday's (11/20) game has been moved to December 11. The Lakers next travel to Schoolcraft College on Tuesday (11/23) to take on the Ocelots. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
