Lakers make it 12 in a row

The Lakers men's basketball team traveled to Fremont last night to take on the Terra Titans in a make-up game. Lakeland came away with a convincing 91-52 victory to improve their record to 12-0 (3-0). The Lakers had a very balanced attack as every Laker scored at least 3 points. Lakeland also had 5 players score in double digits. Jaidon Lipscomb was the high scorer with 15 points and he also collected 7 rebounds. JR Lumsden tallied 14 points on 6-7 shooting from the field while Marcos Vazquez picked up 13 points on a 5-7 shooting night. Vazquez also added 4 assists. Kyle Jackson scored 12 points (5-7 from the field) and had 7 rebounds while Chaze Harris chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. Noah Berry finished with 9 points (3-3 from the field).

Hunter's Highlights: "It was a good team win. Everyone was a part of this tonight - real team effort. We have to turn the page quickly though as we have 2 more road games this week."

Next up: The Lakers will travel to Ursuline College on Wednesday night where they will take on the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats in conference play. Tip off is scheduled for 9pm.
