Lakeland's Jaidon Lipscomb was named the OCCAC Player of the Week for the week of November 1. For the OCCAC, this was the first week to have POW awards named in the sport of basketbll.  Lipscomb helped the Lakers go 2-0 last week as he averaged 29 points and 5 rebounds during the two games. Currently, the Lakers are 3-0 and ranked 8th nationally by the NJCAA in DII men's basketball.
