Lakeland's Jaidon Lipscomb was named the OCCAC Player of the Week for the week of January 23. This is the second time this season that Lipscomb has won the award. He won the award previously for his efforts the week of November 1. Lipscomb helped the Lakers go 2-0 last week as he recorded a double-double against Cuyahoga with 33 points and 11 rebounds before following that up with 24 points at Owens. Currently, the Lakers are 16-3 and 9-0 in the OCCAC and ranked 7th in the country by the NJCAAA in DII men's basketball.
