Ancilla scores four in second half to beat Lakeland, 4-0

DONALDSON, Ind. – Lakeland men's soccer was able to hold Ancilla scoreless in the first half but Ancilla scored four unanswered goals in the second half to beat Lakeland 4-0 Sunday afternoon.

With the loss, Lakeland's overall record falls to 5-7-2 and its Region XII record falls to 2-5-1.

Lakeland had two shots on goal in the loss.

Lakeland will look to break its two-game losing streak when it travels to Parma to face Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. Lakeland and Cuyahoga played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 12. Cuyahoga is right above Lakeland in the Region XII standings with a 3-4-1 record.
