Lakeland roughed up by Schoolcraft, 8-0

KIRTLAND, Ohio – Lakeland men's soccer trailed by three at halftime and it didn't get any better for the Lakers after that as Schoolcraft College pulled away for an 8-0 victory Friday afternoon.

With the loss, Lakeland's overall record falls to 5-8-3 and its Region XII record remains 2-5-2.

Lakeland was only able to get off one shot as Williams Batres (Cleveland) fired a shot that was just off frame.

School fired 23 shots and scored three in the first half and added five in the second half for the lopsided victory.

Lakeland will look to bounce back with a road game at Mercyhurst North East on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m.
