The Lakeland men's soccer team improved to 5-0 (3-0) after an impressive 3-1 road victory over the Triceratops of Cuyahoga Community College. Lakeland carried much of the play as Cuyahoga tried to pack it in defensively for much of the day. While controlling the field, the Lakers were able to fire 19 shots by 7 different players and take 10 corners. Tom Worm led the way on this day as he collected two goals and an assist. Kabera Rudatinya also chipped in with a goal while Josue Gomez added an assist.

Kettani's Quotes: "The team played well. Tri-C sat in and frustrated us but we were able to prevail with gut and determination. It all came down to the players efforts in their fitness conditioning this year. Tri-C was a great host as it's never easy to play against a cross-town rival."

Next up: The Lakers will have a week off to prepare for an important road trip that will take them to Muskegon Community College on Saturday (9/28) at noon and then to Lake Michigan Community College on Sunday (9/29) at 1pm.  Lakeland currently sits at 3-0 in league play while Muskegon is currently 2-0-1.
