The Lakeland men's soccer team faced off against the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats today and came away with a convincing 3-0 win to complete the season sweep on the Bobcats. Lakeland took control of this game early in the first half as they held a significant advantage in time of possession. The Lakers were also able to generate some good scoring opportunites, but were unable to convert. The closest they came was a shot off the post by Charlie Williamson. Despite Lakeland's opportunities, the teams went into the break scoreless. Twelve minutes into the second half, Kyle Roundy broke thru for the Lakers as he ripped a shot past the keeper off of an assist from Josue Rodriguez-Cisneros. For Roundy, this was his third goal in two days. The Lakers continued to pepper the Bobcats before Charlie Williamson hit the tap in on a cross in front of the net from Roundy to give the Lakers a 2-0 lead. The teams continued to battle with the Bobcats generating a couple of scoring opportunities. Till Oppermann was up to the task though as he recorded his second consecutive shutout. Rodriguez-Cisneros put the game away with 6 minutes to play as he took a pass from Harsh Patel and beat the Bobcat defenders before deking the goalie to finish the scoring for the Lakers.

Lakeland outshot the Bobcats 17-6 and held a 6-3 lead in corners in the victory.
