The Lady Lakers played host to the Jamestown Jayhawks and suffered their first defeat of the season, 75-67. With the defeat, the Lakers fall to 3-1 on the season. Right from the start of the game, Lakeland did not seem to have it's typical energy level. They worked hard and still led at the end of both the 1st and 2nd quarters; but it was clear that they just did not have things going their way in the first half. After halftime, Lakeland continued to struggle to put plays together and their shooting went cold. Unfortunately, while they struggled to hit open shots offensively, they gave up some layups on the defensive ends and were just unable to overcome their mistakes.

Elisha Quinn led the way offensively for the Lakers as she scored 26 points in the loss. Madison Fueger added 12 points while Shar'da Williamson finshed with 11 points. Shanya Rhodes chipped in 7 points for the Lakers.

Gardy's Gab: "They just outplayed us. Jamestown had a lot of energy and we were just unable to match it throughout the game. We just had a real difficult time and didn't execute well. We'll evaluate the game more and get back to work so that we are prepared to play next Tuesday."

Next Up:  Please note that Saturday's (11/20) game has been moved to December 11. The Lakers next travel to Schoolcraft College on Tuesday (11/23) to take on the Ocelots. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30.
