The Lakeland women's basketball team traveled to Fremont, Ohio today to face league foe Terra State. It was an early start due to the impending weather forecast. The Lakers gave another strong effort and completed the season sweep with a 63-44 victory over the Titans. With the win, the Lakers evened their conference record to 5-5 (9-10 overall) and are still in the hunt for the play-offs. For the second time in three games, the Lakers used a dominating 2nd and 3rd quarter to earn the win. Lakeland surrendered 5 points in each of those quarters (10 points combined) to seal the victory. Lakeland finished with 3 players in double digits. Trinity Jackson led the team with 28 points while Jai'Lynne Hitt-Swartz finished with 15 points. Monica Devine recorded 11 points while Monetta Hilory finished the game with 6 points. Nitzy Rios added 3 points in the Laker win.
