Three Lakeland players named to All-Region XII women’s soccer team

KIRTLAND, Ohio – Lakeland women's soccer landed three players on the All-Region XII team following the 2018 season.

Maria Sill (Geneva) was named to the first team while Brooke Resse (Willowick) and Briana Paulett (Lyndhurst) were named to the second team.

Sill scored 10 of Lakeland's 18 total goals and added three assists on the season. She also scored the game-winning goal in all four victories for the Lakers in their first season of existence.

Resse played in all 16 games for Lakeland on the defensive side of the ball and was a physical force that deterred many scoring opportunities.

Paulett tied for second on the team with two goals and added an assist in her freshman season for Lakeland.

In its first-ever season of existence, Lakeland finished the season 4-10-2.
