Players of the Game with Coach Horowski comments: Carmen Alvarez - great job tracking her players and connecting passes. She continues to improve.

Josalyn Abrams - she's a key player for us. Really nice job today pushing up and taking charge in the back.

Lillyan Agostine - started in the field and played in goal the second half. She made some beautiful saves - she has really improved from last year with her technique and always a great effort.

Horowski's Happenings: "We have a few injuries we're still battling, but Ryley Woodworth, Lily Schiemann, Stephanie Miller, and Gabrielle Carley really worked hard beind the scenes to help with the effort. We are learning more from every match. Despite some scores, the team still has a positive attitude and we get great feedback. The team really is determined to do their best and I'm very proud of their efforts and growth."

Next Up: The Lakers are off until next Saturday when they travel to Delta College to take on the NJCAA 's D3 #1 ranked Pioneers in a 1:00 pm match.
