FIFA: Monday November 6th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 1 – 2 Community College of Beaver County
Lakeland (Till Opperman) 2 – 0 Lakeland (Carmen Ningler-Farone)
Jama Lempe matched against the Community College of Beaver County. Lempe won the first game 2-1, lost the second game 2-4. Lempe would score the opener in the third game, but would concede two second half goals, losing 1-2.
Carmen Ningler-Farone and Till Oppermann were matched against one another in an all-Lakeland FIFA match. Opperman won the first game 1-0 and Ningler-Farone and Opperman would play to a draw in the second game. Opperman would win game three and the series after blocking a penalty and scoring on a conunter attack. The Lakers FIFA squad return next week for the season finale Monday November 13th at 6:30pm.
Super Smash Bros: Tuesday November 7th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 0 – 3 Umpqua Community College
Joncarlo Marquez matched against Umpqua Community College. Marquez lost in straight sets by scores of 2-0, 1-0, and 1-0. The Lakers return to action next Tuesday November 14th at 6:00pm.
Madden: Wednesday November 8th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 0 - 2 Bismark State College
Ansoumane Oulare was matched against Bismark State College. Oulare played as the Dallas Cowboys losing consecutive games as Bismark State played as the San Diego Chargers. The Lakers return to the field Wednesday November 15th at 6:30pm.
Mario Kart 8: Thursday November 9th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 4 – 1 Pheonix College
Joncarlo Marquez matched against Phenix College. Marquez won the first three races, leading all laps. Marquez lost race four after being hit with 6 straight red turtle shells on the final lap. Joncarlo would recover to win the final race and secure a 4-1 victory. The Lakers return to Mario Kart next Thursday November 16th at 6:00pm.
Rocket League: Friday November 10th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 3 – 1 Iowa Western Community College
Ty Shrader, Cody Osborne, and Sam King matched against IWCC. The Lakers traded wins during the first two matches. Lakeland winning game one 6-2 and IWCC winning game two 1-0. Lakeland won a pivotal game three in overtime 3-2 and went on to win game four 3-2 to win the series. The Lakers Rocket League team final regular season match is next Friday November 17th at 6:00pm.
NBA2K: Friday November 10th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 0 – 2 Bryant & Stratton: Wisconsin
Chris Tackett matched against Bryant & Stratton: Wisconsin for the third week in a row. Tackett lost game one 56-55 in OT and lost the second game 38-30.
