Esports week 7, November 13th – November 17th

FIFA: Monday November 13th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 2 – 0 Community College of Beaver County
Lakeland 0 – 2 Patrick & Henry Community College

Till Oppermann matched against Community College of Beaver County. Oppermann played to a 0-0 draw in the first game. Oppermann played to a 1-1 draw in game two. Oppermann won the second and third game to win the series 2-0-1.

Jama Lempe matched against Patrick & Henry Community College. Lempe lost in the opener 2-4 with two late second half goals from PHCC. Lempe drew in game two 1-1. PHCC won the second and third game to win the series 2-0-1. The Lakers FIFA team next match will be Monday November 27th 6:30pm, as they begin play in the NJCAAE T3 playoffs.

Super Smash Bros: Tuesday November 14th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 0 – 0 BYE week

Madden: Wednesday November 15th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 2 – 0 Catawba Valley Community College

Ansoumane Oulare was matched against CVCC. Oulare won the first game 17-0 behind the 49ers defense. Oulare won the second game securing another shutout 31-0. The Lakers Madden team next match will be on Wednesday November 29th at 6:30pm, as they begin play in the NJCAAE T3 playoffs.

Mario Kart 8: Thursday November 16th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 4 – 3 Herkimer College

Joncarlo Marquez was matched against Herkimer College. Marquez split the first four races, winning the first two. Herkimer would win the fifth race and Lakeland would win the sixth, forcing a game seven. Marquez won the final race leading all laps, winning the series 4-3.

Rocket League: Friday November 17th at 6:00pm
Lakeland 3 – 1 Madison College

Ty Shrader, Cody Osborne, and Sam King matched against Madison College. Lakeland lost game one 0-2. The Lakers won the next three games to secure a spot in the NJCAAE T2 playoffs.

NBA2K: Friday November 17th at 6:30pm
Lakeland 0 – 0 BYE week

Esports is OFF next week for the holiday.
The NJCAAE T2 and T3 playoffs begin the following week Monday Nov. 27th.
