Carmen Ningler-Farone 2-0 Southwestern Illinois College
Ningler-Farone opened his season scoring first in the 10th min vs SW Illinois. Lakeland wins the first game 5-1.
Lakeland wins game two of the best of three series 6-2. Lakeland will play State Fair College on Monday Feb. 12th at 6:00pm.
Till Oppermann 2-0 CUNY Kingsborough Community College
Oppermann scored the first goal of the season in the 5th min vs Kingsborough. Lakeland won game one 4-2. Lakeland wins game two of the best of three series 2-1. Lakeland will play Herkimer College on Monday Feb. 12th at 6:00pm.
Mario Kart 8-Thursday Feb. 8th 7:00pm
Caden Gragg 2-3 Southwestern Illinois College
Gragg won the opening race leading all three laps. SW Illinois won race two after taking the lead on the final lap with a well-placed red shell, taking Lakeland out of the race. SW Illinois won the closely contested third race. Lakeland won race four in comeback fashion, after being down 2.5 laps Gragg landed a double mushroom boost and a red shell forcing SW Illinois off the map just before the finish line. Gragg would fall victim to a chain chop in the fifth race leading to SW Illinois to win the race and the series 3-2.
Caden Gragg 0-3 Heartland Community College
Gragg opened the second match of the night losing the first race to Heartland. The Lakers had trouble in race two losing all laps behind Heartland's speed and drifting control throughout the map. Heartland won the third race to sweep the best of series. Lakeland's Mario Kart returns next Thursday February 15th at 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
