The Lakers traveled to Terra State tonight and suffered their first loss in conference play by falling to the Titans 74-64. The Lakers record now stands at 16-4 overall and 9-1 in conference play. Lakeland got off to a slow start in the first half and trailed by 15 at the break. Elhadji Thiam provided the Lakers spark on offense as he scored 13 poionts in the opening period. The Lakers were playing a bit short-handed as they were dealing with health issues and were just never able to get on track for most of the night. Lakeland would battle in the second half, but were just unable to overcome the early deficit.

Elhadji Thiam finished as the Lakers leading scoring with 22 points. Jaidon Lipscomb would finish his night with 18 points. Jaden Woods scored 8 points and Brandon Lane finished with 7 points for the Lakers. Landon Tillman chipped in 6 points in the loss.

T's Thoughts: "We didn't play with much energy tonight. Credit Terra as they came out and played hard. We will regroup and get ready for our next game."

Next Up: The Lakers will play host to the Clark State Eagles on Saturday in a 1:00 pm tilt.
