The Lakers men's soccer team traveled to Lorain County Community College today and rolled to a 9-0 victory over the Commodores. Lakeland started early with a strong effort to allow them to take control of the match. The Lakers controlled all phases of the match and were never seriously challenged throughout the game. Xander Bergiers led the way with four goals for the Lakers. Jesus Arellano and Adan Tejada each scored two goals while Peter Shafack also netted a goal for the Lakers. Callum Garrett and Abedalhameed Mubarak each picked up two assists while Brian Fonseca, Jama Lempe, and Jesus Arellano each added an assist in the win.

Next Up:  The men's soccer team is scheduled to play Monroe Community College on Saturday (10/15) in a non-league match at noon on Laker Field.
