Lakeland then closed out the game with a strong 16-6 advantage in the 4th quarter. Perry finished with 7 points while Fueger added 6 more points to fuel the Laker win. Coach Gardenhire commented, "We were able to get after them defensively to start the game and they were able to close the gap by hitting some 3's. This is the first tight game we have played in about a month - so it was good to see how we responded and played. This was a tough road win against an extremely dangerous team for anyone to play in our league. I was proud of the grit we played with in this game. This was really a good team win as everyone contributed."

Lauren Perry led the Lakers with 21 points while Madison Fueger finished 18 points. Gianna Pegoraro scored 9 points while Makayla Gordon finished with 6 points for the Lakers.
