Lakeland's Lauren Perry was named the OCCAC Player of the Week for the week of January 23 and January 30. For the week of January 23, Perry helped lead the Lakers to a 2-0 mark as she averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists. Key in that week was a 25 point and 10 rebound effort at Owens.  This past week, the Lakers only played one game, but Perry recorded another double-double, a 28 point and 10 rebound effort, against Edison State. Currently, the Lakers are 17-2 and 6-0 in the OCCAC.
