The Lakers will be the #1 seed out of Ohio when they play in the Division II Districts at Mott Community College in Flint, MI. Lakeland will play on Thursday, March 8 - the time and opponent are still to be determined. Coach Gardenhire commented, "This was a good team win. We played well, but Edison made us step up the defense as they hit shots. Everyone played a part in this game - it was good to see. The ladies really worked hard this season and so it was really nice to see them rewarded as conference champs!"

Lauren Perry led the way for the Lakers scoring 30 points. Gianna Pegoraro had a strong game finishing with 16 points while both Makayla Gordon and Zion Fussell scored 8 points for the Lakers. Madison Fueger chipped in 6 points in the Lakers win.
