Media Day: Photo Album
The Lakeland women's basketball team is preparing to kick off the 2023-24 season with their first game on Wednesday, November 1, at Jamestown Community College in New York. The Lakers finished with a 22-4 record last season, were co-champs of the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference, and fell 1 game short of reaching the NJCAA National Tournament as they were tripped up in the Great Lakes District A Finals at Mott Community College by Mid-Michigan College 69-65.
Returning players include: Arion Brown, Mya James, Aliyah Johnson, and Lauren Perry.
Incoming freshman include: Monica Devine, Hilda Ismail, Trinity Jackson, Carly James, and Nitzy Rios.
Lakeland also welcomes two transfer students: Batoul Khaleefah and Layla Von Berndt.
The home opener is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th at 1:00 pm against Erie Community College. Military personnel and Veterans will be recognized on Tuesday, November 28th.
