The Lakeland women's soccer team played host to the Schoolcraft College Ocelots on Friday and dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision. With the loss, the Lakers record drops to 1-3 (0-3). The Ocelots controlled much of the action as they outshot the Lakers 19-2.  They also held a corner advantage of 9-1.  With that, the Lakers battled as keeper Gina Grandini had a strong game in net for Lakeland.

Sivik's Sentiments: "Schoolcraft has a very well coached team. Their #3 is a solid player. I thought my players did well. My goalkeeper Gina Grandini had a very good game. Overall we are figuring some things out still, but we took a step in the right direction today."
