The Lakeland volleyball team traveled to Cuyahoga Community College today and dropped a 3-0 decision. The scores of the match were 23-25, 18-25, and 21-25. The Lakers were not able to get their game on track today as they were playing their third match in four days. Coach Miozzi commented, "It was a difficult match today. Unfortunately, we didn't play to our abilities and didn't play as a team. We had been looking better the past couple of weeks, but took a step back today. We'll take some time to regroup and come back with a better effort in our next match. We're much better than our record, we just have to keep battling."

Lakeland was led by Maisie Burlison's 15 kills and 4 digs. Erica Merth also contributed 8 kills while Astianna Coppes recorded 7 kills and 3 digs. Madison Tatka added 6 kills in the loss and Tatianna Matuz finished with 18 assists."

Next Up: The Lakers travel to Lorain County Community College on Wednesday to face the Commodores in a 6:00 pm match.
