Watts' Word: "Lansing proved to be a bigger challenge than what we were ready for. We are athletic enough, but it was a wakeup call for us. Against, Jackson, though we didn't win, we made a big step forward as we played with purpose. The team was determined to play together. By the 3rd set, our wheels were spinning - we just made a few more mistakes - but were in a position to finish the set on top. We're coming together and we're exited about our potential."
Next Up: The Lakers will continue in the invitational tomorrow as they face off against Henry Ford College at 10:45 and then Southwest Michigan College at 4:00 pm.
